배경지식 Background

① 구세군의 시작
: 개신교의 한 교파로 윌리엄 부스 목사가 창립했습니다. 1800년 어느날 교회에서 중산층 이상의 신도가 빈민들이 교회에 들어오지 못하게 막는 일이 일어났습니다. 이에 반발한 윌리엄 목사가 예수의 아가페적인 사랑을 중심으로 교회를 세우겠다며 만든 것입니다.

① The beginning of the Salvation Army
: It is a Protestant denomination founded by Pastor William Booth. One day in 1800, the poor were prevented from entering the church by members of the middle class or higher. In response to this, Pastor William created the church by saying that he would build a church around Jesus' agape love.

② 자선냄비
: 크리스마스가 오면 인구 이동이 많은 곳에서 쉽게 볼 수 있습니다. 자선 활동을 위해 모금하는 냄비라는 뜻으로 빨간색 냄비 모양의 모금함입니다.
