한국 법원이 성범죄를 일으킨 사이비 교주에 징역 23년을 선고했습니다.

선고를 받은 사이비 교주는 78세 정명석으로 23년의 징역을 모두 마치면 100살이 넘게 됩니다.
The convicted cult leader is 78-year-old Jung Myung-seok, who will be over 100 years old when he completes his 23 years in prison.

정명석은 지난 2018년 2월부터 2021년 9월까지 23차례에 걸쳐 신도들을 추행하거나 성폭행한 것으로 밝혀졌습니다.
It was revealed that Jung Myung-seok molested or sexually assaulted believers on 23 occasions between February 2018 and September 2021.

피해자들 중에는 홍콩, 호주 등 외국인도 포함됐으며 정명석은 자신을 메시아라고 하며 신도들을 세뇌한 후 범행을 저질렀습니다.
Among the victims included foreigners from Hong Kong and Australia. Jung Myung-seok called himself the Messiah and committed the crime after brainwashing believers.

정명석은 지난 2008년부터 2018년까지도 강간, 성추행 등으로 복역했습니다.
