오늘 한국의 대학 입학 시험인 '수능'이 시행됩니다.
Today, Korea's college entrance exam, the 'CSAT,' will be held.

이번에 수능에 응시하는 학생은 모두 50만 4588명으로 시험은 오전 8시 40분부터 시작됩니다.

경찰은 수능 당일 1만 6000여명을 투입해 시험장을 관리하고 교통을 통제합니다.

또한 관공서나 기업에서는 수험생들이 편하게 이동할 수 있도록 하기 위해 출근시간을 9시에서 10시로 늦추기로 했습니다.

① 대학수학능력시험
: 수능은 매해 11월 셋째 주 목요일에 열리는 한국의 대학 입학 시험입니다. 시험 과목은 국어, 수학, 영어, 한국사, 사회와 과학 탐구, 제2 외국어입니다. 성적은 가장 높은 1등급부터 9등급까지 나오며 평가방식은 상대평가로 이루어집니다.

: The College Scholastic Ability Test (CSAT) is a college entrance exam in Korea held on the third Thursday of November every year. The exam subjects are Korean, math, English, Korean history, social studies and science research, and a second foreign language.
