한국의 빼빼로가 해외에서도 큰 인기를 끌고 있습니다.
Korea's Pepero is gaining huge popularity overseas as well.

베트남과 필리핀, 몽골, 말레이시아 등 아시아권부터 미국까지 빼빼로를 찾는 사람들이 늘고 있습니다.
More and more people are looking for Pepero from Asia to the United States, including Vietnam, the Philippines, Mongolia, and Malaysia.

지난 11일 젊은 고객이 많이 찾는 베트남 호찌민의 반한(Vanhanh) 쇼핑몰에서는 한국의 빼빼로가 반나절 만에 다 팔렸습니다.
On the 11th, Korean Pepero was sold out in half a day at the Vanhanh shopping mall in Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam, where many young customers visit.

작년 11월 몽골 CU에선 빼빼로의 판매가 지난해 같은 기간보다 3.7배 뛰었습니다.
In November last year, sales of Pepero jumped 3.7 times from the same period last year at CU in Mongolia.

한국의 빼빼로는 미국, 중동, 동남아시아 등 전 세계 50여 국으로 수출됩니다.

① 한국의 빼빼로(Pepero) vs 일본의 포키(Pocky)
: 기다란 막대 과자에 초코를 묻힌 형태인 한국의 빼빼로와 일본의 포키는 생김새도 맛도 비슷합니다. 한국의 빼빼로는 1983년 출시됐고 일본의 포키는 1966년에 출시됐습니다. 한국과 일본 모두 11월 11일에는 ‘1’이라는 숫자와 비슷한 빼빼로를 나누는 기념일이 있습니다.

① Korea's Pepero vs Japan's Pocky
: Korea's Pepero, which is a long stick cookie coated with chocolate, looks and tastes similar to Japan's Pocky. Korea's Pepero was released in 1983 and Japan's Pocky was released in 1966. Both Korea and Japan have anniversaries on Nov. 11 to share Pepero, which is similar to the number "1."
