한국 국민들의 분노를 일으킨 성범죄자 최윤종에게 검찰이 사형을 구형했습니다.
Prosecutors sought the death penalty for Choi Yun-jong, a sex offender who caused outrage among the Korean people.

최윤종은 지난 8월 서울의 한 공원에서 여성을 성폭행하고 살해한 혐의로 재판을 받고 있습니다.
Choi Yun-jong is on trial for charges of sexually assaulting and murdering a woman in a park in Seoul last August.

최윤종은 피해자를 철제 너클을 낀 주먹으로 폭행하고 최소 3분 이상 목 졸라 살해했습니다.
Choi Yun-jong assaulted the victim with iron knuckles and strangled her for at least three minutes.

피해 여성은 현장에서 약 20분동안 방치되었다가 병원으로 옮겨졌고 이틀 뒤에 뇌 손상으로 사망했습니다.
The victim was left at the scene for about 20 minutes and then taken to the hospital, where she died two days later from brain damage.

한국 검찰은 “최윤종이 반성하고 있지 않고 재범의 위험이 크다”면서 사형을 선고해달라고 요청했습니다.
Korean prosecutors requested for sentencing the death penalty, saying, “Choi Yun-jong is not feeling any remorse and there is a high risk of reoffending.”
