“정치하는 아저씨는 못 믿어요”
“I can’t trust politician ahjussi”

한국의 중학생과 고등학생들이 대통령이나 정치인보다 인플루언서를 더 신뢰하는 것으로 나타났습니다. 
It was found that middle and high school students in Korea trust influencers more than the president and politicians.

지난해 한국 중학생과 고등학생들이 가지고 있는 직업별 신뢰도는 학교 선생님이 86.8%로 가장 높았습니다. 
Last year, school teachers had the highest job-specific reliability of Korean middle and high school students at 86.8%.

이후 검찰과 경찰(61.7%), 판사(55.6%), 언론인(37.6%), 종교인(34%) 순서로 높았습니다. 
Since then, it has been highest in the order of prosecutors and police (61.7%), judges (55.6 %), journalists (37.6%), and religious people (34%).

특히 인플루언서가 31.5%로 대통령(22.7%)이나 정치인(23.4%)보다 높았습니다. 
In particular, 31.5% of influencers were higher than the president (22.7%) and politicians (23.4%).

이러한 결과는 한국 젊은 세대의 정치에 대한 불신을 반영한 결과라고 할 수 있습니다. 
These results reflect the distrust of politics of the younger generation in Korea.

① ~보다

: ‘보다’라는 말은 ‘Look’이라는 의미를 가지고 있습니다. 또 ‘보다’는 명사의 뒤에 붙어서 더 낮은 수준을 의미하는데요. 따라서 ‘보다’ 앞의 명사가 더 낮은 수준이라고 생각하면 됩니다. 예시를 살펴볼까요.
: The word ‘보다’ means ‘look’. Also, ‘보다’ is attached to the end of a noun to mean a lower level. Therefore, you can think of the noun before  ‘보다’ as being at a lower level. Let's look at an example.

예시) 존은 수잔보다 키가 크다 : 존의 키 > 수잔의 키 
John is taller than Susan: John's height > Susan's height

① “선생님 될래요”
: 2023년 한국의 중학생과 고등학생들의 희망 직업 1위는 교사였습니다. 중학생의 9.1%가, 고등학생의 6.3%가 교사가 되고 싶다고 밝혔습니다. 지난 17년 동안 ‘교사’는 희망직업 1위를 차지했습니다.

: Teacher is Korea's No. 1 dream job for middle and high school students in 2023. 9.1% of middle school students and 6.3% of high school students said they want to become teachers. For the past 17 years, 'teacher' has topped the list of dream jobs.
