한국에 벌써 봄이 온다?
Spring is already coming to Korea?

이번 주말 한국은 봄이 시작됩니다. 
Spring begins in Korea this weekend.

오래 전부터 농사를 지었던 한국은 날씨와 계절을 중요하게 생각합니다. 
Korea, which has been farming for a long time, values the weather and season.

그래서 한국은 24개의 날짜를 정해 농사에 필요한 계절을 계산했습니다. 
So Korea set 24 dates to calculate the seasons needed for farming.

이를 ‘절기’라고 합니다. 
This is called ‘Jeolgi’ (solar terms).

이번 주말인 2월 4일은 24개의 절기 중 ‘입춘’으로 봄이 시작하는 때를 말합니다. 
This weekend, February 4th, is ‘Ipchun’, one of the 24 Jeolgi, and refers to the beginning of spring.

아직은 추운 날씨지만 이 때를 기준으로 점점 따뜻해진다는 의미입니다. 
It's still cold, but it means it's going to get warmer from this point on.

옛날 한국 사람들은 입춘이 되면 봄을 기다리며 농사를 다시 시작할 준비를 했습니다. 
In the past, Korean people waited for spring and prepared to start farming again at the beginning of spring.
